At the hotel in Petra they arranged a transport directly to the port Agaba from there we could take a boat to Nuweiba in Egypt.
There were a lot of people going with this boat and a lot of waiting time coming on board and getting through the passport controls and all this in a burning sun.
On board we got in contact with some other tourists who helped us with transport to the beach resort Dahab.
Here we are now installed in a hotel near the beach every thing ok has it not been the heat, but we resolved to stay three nights before taking off to Cairo, which should be to morrow.

And we took a good bus to Damascus capital of Syria and that took 20 hours. The bus arrived late and we had to fight bravely with the taxi driver and lost and we had to stay overnight in an expensive hotel. The next day we went out to find a cheaper one that we found in the old town. Here we stayed 5 days in order to get our visa to Egypt.
We got it and went by bus to Amman capital of Jordan and from there with minibus to Petra. Here the price of the hotel was more reasonable, so we resolved to stay three nights.
Yesterday we walked the feats off ourselves to see this old site in a burning sun ok we did our duty. To day is to rest and write this.

A few days passed but a lot of things happened. The plan was to say goodbye to the BB a hard decision to take after 28 years. But it should be so.
Already at the first bigger town after border we found a cutter and sold the BB for 500 Dollars .And already the first problem presented it self too much luggage 4 big and heavy trunks. The man who bought the BB gave us transport to a hotel where we organized our trunks a little better and slept the night, and the next morning at six o'clock we took the bus to Bangkok a nice trip.
In Bangkok we new where to go but had to fight bravely with the taxi driver about the price, but we ended at a hotel near to a travel agency, and here started a new problem there were only tickets to Cairo by the end of the month really a long time to wait.
Have you another solution ? He found that we could go to Istanbul more expensive.
The aircraft took off the next day at noon .
Now to resolve the other problem our big luggage ? To sent it to Brazil was very complicated, and we resolved just to leave two trunks behind.
And we took off for Istanbul.
Strange to sit up there following on a TV all the countries where we trawled for months .
And we came to Istanbul to get a shock over the hotel price 160 $ in a miserable room, and they could tell us that the prices were so here, I slept badly, how to get a balance in our budget
Here in Istanbul we took the Metro to the center of the town and after a wile recognized the town and here we found a hotel room to 50 $ still very expensive compared to what we paid in Thailand, but ok..

And now how to go to Cairo?
We decided to go by bus, The first part is through Turkey that showed to be cheap but a little hard 14 hours directly to Syria, I am on my way to buy the tickets now.

And we went to Cambodia and visited Anchor Watt, but in quit a different way than planed, that what happens when you travel our way the day ends quit different than planed.
When we came to the border the people there could tell us that we could not leave the country because we did not get a document at the border from Laos to Thailand it was necessary to go back and get this document more than 1000 km back nothing that they could do for us it was law.
As the plan is to end our long journey very soon we decided to stop here at the border and take a organized tour to Anchor Watt, Two nights at a hotel to and back with taxi A trip on 150 km 4 hours over the Cambodian plain, a travel on a more bad than good road. The hotel was something new for us now after 14 months in the BB.
We are now back in Thailand where make I this report, sitting at an open road after a good shower..
To morrow we shall find out how to put an end to the BB s story.

Thailand we like you very much, your nature, your roads and your people. We followed the road along the coast from Chon Buri to Chantha Buri. On one day we left the coast to take a boat to the island Ko Samet where we had a very nice day at a very clean and white beach
In the meantime we entered in contact with the traveling bureau Footprint in England to book a travel in East Africa, to do so we had to enter a lot of Internet Cafes along our way, and it is still not all settled.
And now the weather changed, it is raining to day, and we stopped at a gas station near to the border of Cambodia waiting for it to stop.
