The last night in Yanshou Sergio arranged a visit for us two to a show in an open air theater located at the riverbank near the city. And the show was really fantastic.
The day after we started the last leg on our way out of China to the border of Laos.
Sergio told us that there was a bid of a bad road, and the chock was big when we came to it, a couble of very bad landslides,and when we met a bus in the very middle I really got nervous there seemed no way out of it I was forced out of the mud not knowing if I could get back on the road again, but it went ok , but only e few minutes after the BB got a puncture, to have to change the wheel after a day like this was not a pleasure at all, and to find out that a new tire was necessary, in a place long from every where was either nice at all..
We found a place to overnight in a little village.
And the next day only 45 km later the road got ok again and we arranged a new tire.
And every thing about the bad road was forgotten.
Unfortunately the new windshield is made of a very bad plexy glass it has broken several places and worse it gets dim so the rest of this trip will be in a fog.
It is a pity because China is a very beautiful country.
We drive now on the expressways and at the end of the day we take an exit find a hotel to our guide and we normally can park in the front.

And to day we went the last 40 km to visit Chinas most famos waterfalls.

And now we came just back from a walk in the area, a park with strange stones worked by the water and entrance to the big waterfall, as always in China very beautiful arranged.

And we reached Xian and found a beautiful city, and from here to visit the site of the terracotta woriors.
And now again driving, driving and driving as my mother said every thing in China is big the whole land and its cities and towns.

We prepared our visit to my internet friend Sergio sending E mail and got his telephone number and when we came to his town Yangsho, we called him and he found us easily and let us park in front of his own house.
That was yesterday, he invited us to lunch and dinner.
It is more than one year that he and his Chinese wife and there son and daughter arrived driving their car in a 100 days travel related in his blog : tribulations-famille-chine.blogspot.com from Paris.
To day he is the proprietary of a 4 stories building here in Yangsho.
To day it is raining just a little so it should be possible to do some tourisme

And we took off to Kashgar.Here we parked in a hotel s yard and was received by the personal from a company who should help us with the documents.Sisi found a mechanic to help with the battery problem, who found out that the problem once again was the starter motor, and resolved it. Next problem the documents the office was long outside the city and coming there was no electricity, and we had to wait a couple of days.The company helped and the biggest surprise was that my medical examination on a local hospital was not a proved my hart worked too slow, but yhis they resolved putting an other person in my place.We took off with two documents on the windshield and and a new driver license in Chinese.
Jason had made route longer just to show us a sand desert, and nearly through it I was told to turn round and made a wrong turning and got stuck in the sand and needed help from a tractor to get out.
The road is in a very good driving condition pass the town Turpan and a 70 km before we should run in to a hurricane, first it took the luggage carrier and when I turned in at a place to find shelter together with other trucks the whole front windshield blow out.
I managed to find shelter in the back of a small truck, where we hoped that he would stop as long as the hurricane would go on. But one after one the trucks took off.And Sisi resolved to call help on here Mobil and the police really came and resolved to get help from a truck to give shelter to a small village , The result was not good at all the back window blow out as soon as we started and together with other items to come to this village was a hell on earth and coming there there was no shelter to get either.
The wind blew stronger and stronger, we had to cover us the best we could and hope for the day light, and only then I could find a better shelder.All the way back to Brazil I had prepared a plastic windshield but not to mount in a hurricane, but Sisi managed to put in on, and became the day s heroine. And late in the afternoon we took of for Turpan to lick ours wounds
Turpan showed to be the hottest city in China an other hell on our way. But Sisi managed to find a workshop to make us two windshields of plastic glass. It took two days and they made the best they could with the material they had.
Result we or most Dora want to get out of China as fast as possible .But China is a very big country, there is along long way.
The road is very good and we make 300 to 400 km per day overnight in gasoline station, were I am righting this now.
Next city should be Xian
