Hope in Mersin

We have now been in Mersin nearly a week and still we do not know if we are fried or cooked. Once I managed to speak to Mr. Peter and he promised to mail me, but nothing.
We are well installed near the beach and the weather is good
We still have some troubles with the battery ,so we resolved to buy a new one.
We made friends with the people at the internet café.

A story to tell: All back from Brazil I followed a Blog made by a Frenchman named Serge Leret traveling from France to China in their own car following the Silk Road, together with his Chinas wife and two children. It was looking up the carnet de passage en douane I found his blog. Serge Leret is a really adventurer who traveled the whole world on a bicycle during 4 years. Now they are in China living in there own house. Serge has helped me several times putting my blog a little better. And now the best: I got a mail from him telling that Iran let some people cross there country in ten days in transit without this horrible document.

So there is a chance.

I have also had a contact with Roy who now is in Tailandia., his opinion is that Venezuela will not be able to help.
As you can see at the photos Mersin is a modern and beautiful town.
