The ferry arrived earlier that we waited, and to get off was easy, but it was raining and dark so we found a place for the night in the proper harbor

After breakfast we took an unknown road without rain it started as motor road but soon it changed to a very winding mountain road, but well asphalted. It showed to be a bit of a job to trawled it. The landscape was really breathtaking and so we came to the first Greek town Ioannina.

We found a place near at the lake beach and after a walk and some sightseeing we took off for another mountain climbing nearly all at a 30km/h speed and yesterday we came to the tourist town Meteora. Here we resolved to go into a camping to use there facilities to get some clothes washed. It should happen to start raining again witch is no good for our washing, so here we sit hoping for a better weather and get the clothes dried.

Just time to tell a story:
This place I remember from fifty years ago, when I came this way on my motorcycle. As I told before the plan was to go to Egypt, but I only managed to come to Tunis at the border to Libya they discovered that I had second passport with a visa to Israel - so I had to take the away back and I took to Athena and from here up thru Yugoslavia. And the road passed Meteora and I got surprised to see the mountains and the monasteries and of course I took a lot of photos, and took of. For the night I put my little tent up in some place which for my bad luck happen to be near a military installation.Thei asked me take off and so I did, but it seemed not to be long enough because the next morning a couple of soldiers kindly asked me to come with them an officer wanted to speak with me , and I told him that I had no idea were I was and that I absolutely was no spy.OK he let me off but asked me to give a soldier a lift to the nearest town, so I believed ,but the idea was out of the contry.Coming to the town I took off without him .And after another two days coming to the frontier there a very angry man was waiting for me, the result was they took my film exactly the one with the photos of the monasteries

Tomorrow hoping for better whether I hope to be able to take a lot of photos just like thousands have done during all this fifty years.
